Even without the Buffalo, the 800 acres of scenery at the XH Ranch is beautiful.
As the wagon rolls through the fields, past the ponds, and over or around the hills,
there's plenty of photo opportunities! Then as the tractor pulls out of the trees and
crests a hill, Hans, the driver, points ahead and says "There they are!" And what an
incredible sight it is! Over 70 Buffalo cows with calves, yearlings and 12 bulls -
that's about 200 Buffalo!

Imagine being close enough to a Buffalo to get a photo of a female nursing her baby like
the photo to the left. You'll have the chance - time and time again! The wagon goes
right through the middle of the herd so there are buffalo all around you. Depending on
the time of year there will be plenty of babies and you'll also see some of the enormous
herd sires.
